A torque limiter coupling controls the maximum transmitted torque through a preset release mechanism. When flying shears, cutting lines, indexing mechanisms or conveyors encounter jamming or abnormal torque peaks, it acts at the set value to protect downstream equipment. Its key requirements are stable release torque, clear reset method and reliable repeated operation. Selection should confirm set torque range, allowable speed, bore, keyway, reset method, operating frequency and permitted impact value. For imported-brand replacement or custom projects, old drawings and nameplate data should be provided.
